Opening Sale of Ewes and Lambs 120424
The opening sale of ewes and lambs proved to be a huge success with a keen ringside of buyers forward resulting in a sale average of £99.43 being achieved.
The sale topped at £140 per life for a pair of Texel ewes with single Texel lambs from D Horn, Great Salkeld.
A consignment of Cheviot ewes with twin lambs achieved an average of £95.59 from Mr LC Walton, Goodlie Hill Cottage, included in this run was a Scotch Mule ewe with twin lambs realising £95 per life.
