On Monday Penrith & District Farmers’ Mart LLP held their fortnightly sale of Prime Cattle.

A small entry of dairy-bred heifers was forward from Mr W Schug, Bongate Moor, topping at 249.5ppk/£1586.82 for a Limousin weighing 636kg.
